After New York State’s first year of legal cannabis sales, the country’s largest city, New York City, is already making a mark by being the global leader in cannabis consumption. In addition to that, the state is ramping up legal dispensary openings with a projected total of 122 shops by the end of 2024. A large number of new dispensaries means new faces in the industry and a larger cannabis community. Cannabis 101: Public to Private and Everything In Between
With 2023 making the first year of legal cannabis sales in New York, the industry is still facing some growing pains. Presented by the CFA Society New York, Cannabis 101 gives you the opportunity to join cannabis industry experts to discuss topics such as challenges, opportunities, and trends that affect business owners in the industry.

Finger Lakes CannaMarket
Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of cannabis with the Finger Lakes CannaMarket. They host a variety of different events, such as their classic CannaMarket, Joints and Jokes, and Puff and Paint. These are all fun-filled events where cannabis enthusiasts can all get together as a community and enjoy the festivity of cannabis culture.
Location: Ithaca, NY, and Liberty, NY depending on the event.

Cannabis Parade & Rally
The New York City Cannabis Parade & Rally, or NYCCPR, started in 1973 with the Yippies in Washington Square Park. This year, the parade hits the streets of New York City and will include three main components, the parade, rally, and after-party.
Location: New York City Cannabis Parade begins on the East side of Broadway between 32nd Street and 33rd Street. The Rally will take place at Union Square Park after the Parade.

CWCBExpo
The Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition, or CWCBExpo, is a B2B trade show event leader in the industry. The goal of CWCBExpo is to help cannabis businesses develop their brand, increase efficiencies, and find potential investments. On top of their general two-day exhibit, they offer additional seminars and networking events, such as a networking mixer, a women in cannabis luncheon, and an industry yacht party.

CannaCon
